We offer all our obstetric patients a true "womb with a view." Our state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment takes both 3D and 4D ultrasound images, enabling our service providers to safely gauge the development of your baby while giving you peace of mind. We are also pleased to announce our recent accreditation by the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine for promoting the safe and effective use of ultrasound and excellence in patient care. This voluntary certification ensures that all the physicians and sonographers at our obstetric/gynecology practice have received documented ultrasound training, have the appropriate credentials, and receive continuing education in their field. It also verifies that all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.

Treatments for Excessive Menstrual Bleeding
If you suffer from heavy menstrual bleeding, also known as menorrhagia, an endometrial ablation may be the solution. We provide two proven methods—both minimally invasive and highly effective. Both are performed as another outpatient alternative to a hysterectomy.
- The HTA® procedure relies on the circulation of heated saline which fills the uterine cavity, and has the unique ability to treat those women whose uterine cavities have abnormal shapes and also some with fibroids. This procedure does not take long to complete and requires the use of a localized anesthetic. For more information about the HTA procedure,

Generally the entire process will take about five minutes and will require the use of a localized anesthetic. For more information about this procedure,

Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy (LSH)
If you are faced with having a hysterectomy, a LSH (Laproscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy) is worth considering. This is a less invasive procedure that may reduce pain and minimize scarring. Your surgeon uses a thin, lighted, telescope-like instrument called a laparoscope, which is inserted through tiny incisions into the abdomen. As this type of surgery does not require a large incision, you can expect less scarring and a reduced recovery time. In most cases, the procedure can be done on an outpatient basis. Are you concerned about osteoporosis? Fractures resulting from this condition can be very painful and adversely affect the way you live your life. We offer bone mineral density (BMD) exams through a quick, painless and non-invasive method known as DEXA (Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry). The DEXA exam uses a weak form of x-ray to scan bones and check the density in various places throughout your body, such as your hip and spine. This procedure requires no special medication or injections, and only takes about 20 minutes to complete. For more information about bone density exams and osteoporosis, please
