Shelley S. Binkley, M.D.

Dr. Binkley received her Doctor of Medicine at Temple University School of Medicine in Pennsylvania and completed her residency in obstetrics/gynecology at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She has been practicing since 1992 and specializes in conservative surgeries for abnormal bleeding, PMS and women’s hormonal issues and management. In addition to blogging on medical issues, Dr. Binkley self-published an award-winning book entitled: “DIY Baby! Do It Yourself Baby! – Your Essential Pregnancy Handbook.” A recent transfer from Colorado, Dr. Binkley has two children (9 and 13) and enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and backcountry skiing.
